Z4 Alarm Kit 65730302424

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Unfortunately the BMW alarm kit for E85/E86 cars (65730302424) is no longer available.

I was able to find a source with multiple used sirens for our cars from the UK. I would be willing to assemble these into alarm installation kits identical to 65730302424 kit for E85 and E86 cars using a used siren and new OEM hardware including hood bracket, hood sensor and misc nuts/bolts.

I can do this for $110 shipped using USPS flat rate shipping if i can get at least 5 people interested.

E85/E86 (M) Installation Instructions:

E85/E86 (Non-M) Installation Instructions:

If interested, please respond to this thread

It beeps using the alarm siren for sounds. You can turn sounds on and off through coding if you desire.

You are correct as BMW significantly reduced the price (to $40) to clear out their inventory a few years ago. Unfortunately that kit is no longer available from any BMW dealer so you can either buy the parts included in the kit for $230 or buy kit with a motion sensor for $360 (MSRP).

I am making basically nothing by doing this but figure if there were enough people interested I would help the community out.

the instructions mention something about having dealer recode it after install, is this necessary?

The coding is necessary if you want the alarm to function. At least it was on my 07 M coupe which did not have the alarm enabled from the factory so I had to turn it on in the coding. There's about 16 options in the coding for the alarm such as flash low beam, hi beams, hazards ect...

Coding to enable alarm in the GM5 module:

DWA - ANTITHEFT ALARM SYSTEM (DWA) = aktiv - enabled

MIT_OPT_ALARM - WITH ANTITHEFT ALARM SYSTEM (DWA) = aktiv - enabled
