New SC owner; anyone out there?!

I was thinking a little on the time we get there too. It's in the northern part of the city so I don't know how much traffic will be present at that time of morning on a saturday. I was expecting it to be a little crowded by then but I don't want to get up any earlier and the guys who are coming from Augusta and Sumter are going to have to be up earlier than I am. Pretty much everyone on the highway is going to be going 80MPH or more. Although I don't know how much attention we are going to attract with a line of Bimmers going down the interstate. Ha Ha. Should still be fun though. I think there's a mountain run going down after headed up by the local Z (nissan/infinity) club. We will see I guess. I hope the weather gets a little drier. I just washed and detailed her this evening. Tech Wax then Carnaba. I even got the insides of my rims. My wife thinks I'm a nut.

I am sure you guys are hitting I-77. Usually there are no much traffic during that time, but beware of the state line on the NC side. Cops are getting more active on speeding lately.

Yeah last time I went up there and was driving through Rock Hill the state cops were pulling 3 cars over at a time. Up until then it's smooth sailing though.

+2 on the rim detailing. It was running slow earlier but it's fine for me now.

It was great to meet everyone yesterday. Despite the getting up early part...the car show was pretty cool.

I will get some pics posted up later. Hopefully they came out okay, the lighting with the morning sun so low did not help with getting good pictures!

I had a great time meeting you guys. I hope that I can make it up there for that once in a while. The mountain drive was bad ass. There was a slight mishap that could have ended very badly but I'm glad that it didn't. Let's just say that some people who are not as skilled in driving a "sports" car shouldn't drive faster than their ability or get a different car. Now it might be easier to do the second option. I have some nice pictures. I didn't realize that I was 8 miles from Virginia when I headed home till I checked the map today. All in all had a blast. I will post some pics and video when I get some time.

I see your Bump and raise you, picked up an 06 Z4MC, 22,500 on the clock. about two months ago. Had to go to Reno to get this one but a Silver Matt with Imola red interior was well worth it. Looking forward to hopefully one day meeting up with some of you for a cruise.
