2008 Z4 M Discounts?
I was wondering if the 2008 Z4 M Coupes had any discounts or incentives. I know the prices probably aren't as low as the 07s, but I believe the new 07s are gone. I searched and couldn't find much.

It's a nice way to say "lemon car". "BMW trade assist" will find out more info.

given our current economic state in the U.S. along with the poor sales history for the Z4 M coupe I'd imagine that you could still find an '07 new. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I can't imagine that a car like this is in terribly high demand at the current time.
I LOVE the coupe, but can't justify it for the weather we have here and the fact that I currently have an '05 525i.

go on autotrader.com and search for 07's, both new & used. I've seen where, dunno why, some of the new ones (judged as new by me because they have <100 miles) sometimes show up as used. Then just call the dealerships to see if they still have these cars.

Technically, there are no new 2007s left in the country, according to the dealer system. To quote Tony Shaloub, here's what happened. Late last year BMWNA offered dealers $7500 as a marketing incentive on the last 2007s. If the dealer didn't manage to sell the car, they can still get the $7500 from BMW by buying the car themselves and flagging it as a used car/demo. Everyone did this - you'd be nuts not to if you still had an unsold 2007 sitting - so in the dealer system there aren't any "new" 2007 cars left.
There are, in fact, 12 new 2007 M Coupes left in the US, new meaning they've never been registered. About half those appear to have 100 or so miles from test drives. As a heads-up, there are only 20 new 2008 M Coupes left in the US. Someone on Bimmerfest recently tried to order a new car and was told he couldn't, all 2008 dealer allocations have been used. He's checking into it, but I suspect the Z4 M Coupes production run is over. For remaining inventory, WYSIWYG. |

The cars come off the same line, so I'd think when one stops so will the other. The Bimmerfest poster I was talking about posted today that he was able to find a dealer in another state with a canceled order he could use. His car, apparently one of the last, will be ready in May - my guess is that there won't be any more new Z4s after that.

I wonder if the new Z will bring the higher demand that BMW is looking for. |

Is this included the $3500 allowance or not? If so, it's not a good deal. I was at the dealer last week and he's willing to do $7000 off MSRP including the allowance for a new 2008 M roadster.
