M3Forum poll

I lurk on M3forum a bit and, thinking about the future of the Z4Ms, it occurred to me that moving to these cars as 2nd cars might appeal to owners of the E46 M3, since they're similar. I posted a poll asking what people thought of that option, and the results were a bit of a surprise: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=207230.

If I had an M3 first, I'd move on over to the Z4M. I don't think I'd go the other way.

Nice thread you posted there, BTW. The best comment:

I agree, that's what I did! I have been on M3Forum since Jan '05, alot of useful information and some funny sh!t as well.
Since we are talking about M3Forum polls, I did one a while back and got alot of positive feedback: 135I vs. Mcoupe poll, 28 to 5....winner Mcoupe! Check it out.

I sold my 2003 25k miles M3 last week & purchased a new M coupe. the M3 holds it value much better, its a great car. My new M coupe only has 358 miles on it. I Love the M coupe, I had a 1999 M coupe I miss that car. I wouldent want the m coupe to be a D-D, my M coupe is a weekend car. My 2007 GLI VW is my D-D car.
M3 is larger & easy to get in and out + you can transport people.

I'm sort of the same mind as Rick Hunter. If I'd bought the E46 M3 coupe first, I'd likely have bought the M Roadster and have both.

That sounds like a good idea. Though somedays I wish I had both an M Coupe and a M Roadie. I still like the coupe better however

I don't think I would have gotten the Z4MC if I had been able to get an M3 when I wanted to get one...I'd probably lust after it though...

I also went from an E46 M3 to the Z4 M coupe. I love the car alot. The design is just so sexy. I just wish it was more practical.

I test drove the new M3 coupe (by myself, no salesman with me) a few days ago and drove it fairly hard for about 12 miles on country back highways and smaller roads with curves.

Very nice car but still happy to drive home in the M Coupe.
