No windshield option

So I was driving on the beach (A1A) today, and it was quite hot, so I stuck my hand out the window and it was quite chilley, but there wasnt enough wind in the cabin. It got me thinking....

If there was a way for the windshield to dissapear, would you go winsdshield and top down? I would, but rock chips and bugs might suck.

Unless you already wear a helmet when driving (which I am starting to wonder... lol jk) it would be stupid.

Having a motorcycle I can tell you that rocks not only hurt the car... they hurt like hell when they hit your arm/shoulder as well... not to mention what it might do to your face.

Having said that I can guarantee you having a long sleeve heavy jacket and helmet would be a hell of a lot more hot than having a windshield.

My question is where you driving on the beach or on A1A. I live two blocks from the Ocean and one block from A1A i had a 2000 Z3 and now i have a 2006 Z4 neither of which will ever actually touch the beach.

It wasn't on the sand, but A1A is close enough where I can look to my right and see water and waves.
