CSF 3055 Radiator for 2007 Z4 E86 SI manual
Can anyone verify if the CSF radiator 3055 is a direct fit for the 2007 Z4 e86 3.0si N52, manual ? Two different part #s in RealOEM.com for the radiator between the M and non M. I know Mishimoto has one that's supposed to be a direct replacement and possibly is the same radiator sold by CSF.

According to FCP Euro it should fit. Could call to double check.

Took a chance and ordered the CSF 3055 radiator ( it will work and increases core size by 20% and all aluminum, no plastic ends on the tank that fail ) and did the install along with all of the other new hoses, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, belt, Mickey mouse hose mount that attaches to the block, tensioner and sensors. It is a bit of a tight fit on the side where the expansion tank is. But does work. I also used a set of Lower Radiator offset Power Flex mounts that relocate the bottom of the radiator about a 1/2" forward from stock for additional room.
https://www.bimmerworld.com/Cooling/...111178412.html While I had it apart, removed the harmonic balancer and installed a Malo Industries crank seal guard to prevent the belt from ever getting sucked into the crank seal and destroying the motor if it where to ever come off. Cheap insurance for a preventative measure. Quality part and one piece verses some that are two pieces and does not rub on the balancer or crank. https://maloindustries.ca/products/n...41543850655903 Last edited by cbpip; 06-28-2024 at 04:44 AM.. |

It's listed as direct fit for the E85/86 so glad it worked out! About to order one as I get together a cooling system overhaul for my car as well

There is some fiddling that must be done to get the tank side in. Need to remove the right side bracket that holds the A/C condenser and move it as far forward as possible to squeeze the tank in. Tank needs to be mounted to the tank bracket prior to it being slid into place. Once in, keep the A/C condenser pulled forward to get Its bracket back in and attached. It's a bit of a PITA.
