Not sure what's harder to find, an OEM strut brace or Aero Side skirts

Strut brace is harder. You can find a used one occasionally, but they went out of production 5 years ago.

Side skirts just went out of production last year.

I've read the E46 M3 bar doesn't fit.

Not true at all. Different mounts, different bar.

Pssh, I can probably make the e46 m3 strut brace stay. Not fit. Stay.

have you done any measurements? And how does it compare to the e85/86 version in terms of clearance? It seems to me our brace bracket/mount is a bit taller than the e46 version. I wonder if it has enough clearance for the engine to move around.

Just by looking at your pictures, it seems there is plenty of room to me.

Now, the question I want answer to is, does it fit with the vibra engine mounts with the Karbonius csl airbox under load?

Was that using the stock E46 side mounting brackets?

Yes factory mounts, direct swap. Took 10mins.

I have vt engine mounts as well.

Honestly shocked if that's a direct replacement. I'd read everywhere that there are significant differences that prevent it from fitting properly on the E85/E86 chassis.

I stand corrected!
