SOLD SOLD SOLD - 2008 BMW M COUPE (Last TiAg built) 14,850mi
SOLD SOLD SOLD To a good home in Seattle, WA. Thanks for your interest! Selling this for my friend, who used to be a regular on the forums. He's had a baby and is not using the car to it's potential - thus the sale. The car is currently located in Vancouver, BC Canada - however coded to US-SPEC (as below). To the buyer, delivery within reason can be discussed. I have a relationship with a customs & shipping company who can provide white-glove service for a worry-free export experience. The car is in immaculate shape with only 14,826 mi. It was bought almost new from a collector - within it's initial break-in period from the factory. It was imported into Canada, however the coding has remained US spec. If a Canadian is interested in buying the car, changing it will not be an issue. He has a relationship with a service manager at BMW. This is the very last titanium silver M Coupe (out of 1815 units) that rolled off the production line (LM0879). The car has had a number of tasteful modifications done, mostly to correct the inherent flaws in the stock build (his words). ALL stock parts have been kept and are in perfect shape (having come off the car will little mileage). It has every option available including Nav, HD radio, etc. Every component works flawlessly and each modification complements the other. Please don’t ask if the car will be parted out, as the first choice is to sell as a complete package (to someone who understands the work that went into it). -Euro headers (ceramic coated) -Euro cats (imported) -Supersprint X pipe -Stromung exhaust -ESS Tuning - DirectFlash handheld programmer -ZHP shift knob -AC Schnitzer Side Skirts -RPI scoop -AFE intake -H & R springs -Apex Hyperblack ARC-8 wheels (F: 18x9.5 – R: 18x10) – zero rubbing -Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires (F: 245/40 ZR18 – R: 275/35 ZR18) -UUC Black transmission mounts -UUC Big Boy clutch stop -Zeck CDV -Rogue Engineering Race Brace -Mangowalk stubby antenna Original parts which come with the car (in near-new condition - removed from the car with little mileage): -Stock side skirts -Stock springs -Stock airbox with filter -Stock headers -Stock mufflers -Stock cats -BMW M Coupe car cover Parts new in box, never used (for sale separately, please pm): -GTB Performance Pedal Set -Bavarian Soundwerks Stage 1 Speaker Upgrade -Vibra-Technics Automotive engine mounts - SOLD As mentioned, the mileage is extremely low. This isn’t a garage-queen that was stored and not run. Outside of it's climate-controlled storage, it was regularly insured & driven on sunny days only. This was to ensure a good running of all the components and longevity of the car. It was always properly warmed up prior to being driven, and never abused. It enjoyed ONE advanced driving event (HPDE) with an instructor through Morrisport. The goal was to attend more, however an addition to the family stymied the plans. You won’t find a better example of a low-mileage M Coupe on the road today. A very picky German with great attention to detail has lovingly cared for it. Please message this account for more details, photos, contact info etc. Offers will be taken via private message for the entire package – no part out. Thanks for looking! I'm curious about what is required to bring a US car now in Canada back into the US? I was told it just needs to be certified as meeting US emission standards but is there more red tape involved?

Once the coding is done for the US (which it is), the rest is easy. Here's a link to the normal process: http://www.ezbordercrossing.com/the-.../#.VvmzZj93RFU Last edited by ProphetLoss; 03-28-2016 at 05:55 PM.. Reason: sp |

Seems to be classified. I sent a PM, they asked for email, gave them an address. Haven't heard anything yet. Perhaps "John" is out on spring break.

Nothing against the car or the seller, but I thought we had some forum rules that were very specific about including an asking price when posting a FS thread.

I know John and I have ridden in this car before. We've gone for lunch and drives on many occasions. However, after he had a baby, those drives just not going to happen any more.
He's as meticulous as they come and had big plans for this car. I guess the key word is HAD in this situation. I would not hesitate to deal with him. I've thought about purchasing this gem but I just prefer the open top experience and I have my hardtop so that's 2 car in one for me. If you been around this forum for a while, you can search his posts around Villa's era... He's quite active back then and the only guy that I know installed ACS side skirt on this forum. Something 4 door with 500+hp in your future, John? |

This is probably one of the few modern BMW's that would make a great collectable and a good investment. Very few made, this one has extremely low miles. In 10 yrs, it might be a 100000$ car. Check out what low mile 911's from a couple of generation of car are going for now. The only other "modern" BMW that is this rare and collectible is the Z8, and they were "cheap" for a while, but now are really expensive. Someone needs to jump on this.
