High mileage equals lots of potential problems!

Doesn't seem that unrealistic to me, that's assuming it's clean titled. Somehow, the Z4MR is now one of the cheapest ways to get yourself into an S54 engined car. The mileage is pretty much double what a lot of these Z4M's have.

I think as long as you budget for preventative maintenance and replacing worn out items, you'd have a great driver on your hand. The car compared to most of these new cars out today is relatively simple with a giant engine bay to work in.

Z4MR values are so silly-low that I think it makes much more sense to find a much lower-mileage example at a good price and be much happier with the result - which in the end will probably cost less than buying a high-mileage car of who-knows-what kind of maintenance history and pouring money into it. And when you're done doing that, it still has a ton of miles on it.

Yeah check out cargurus.com ... price seems OK but it does have much higher mileage than other 06 examples.

With that being said, if its well maintained go check it out! I dont get people that buy a car like this and put 15,000 miles on it in 14 years. Why even have it if you dont enjoy it??

Z4MR's valuation is so very low; my Red Roadster is so incredibly beautiful and with 67K miles, it has legs for the future; I've modded it to my liking, with the most recent (3 yrs ago) major performance suspension upgrades); it's original paint and looks virtually new; the interior is 9/10; Blackstone reports show all is good at this time.

It's scary to think that the $ worth of my beautiful Z4MR is about the same as a new compact Hyundai....insane.

I'm keeping it.

So I'm always surprised at the difference in price between a roadie and the coupe.....both great cars.
