Or check ebay, as I did, and just get a second set. Depends on if you want to pony up for a second set or not (mine were about $200). Then you don't have to have 8 tires dismounted, and 4 remounted.

Also FWIW, any particular reason why the shop that mounted your tires didn't mention TPMS? I mean, you obviously can't blame them but if they had thought about it, it might have saved you all this mess one way or the other (buying from them, getting others, or getting them out of your other wheels in the first place). What's done is done, just too bad they didn't think to bring it up or remind you of it.

You don't have to dismount the old wheels' tires completely, just deflate them and pull open the portion of the tire which will allow you access to the wheel's valve stem.
Do this to all four of the old wheels/tires, take out the TMPS from them, and refit the old setup with some regular rubber valve stems and transfer the TMPS to the new wheels/tires.

As for the new wheels/tires, you won't need to dismount the tires either. Same deal, only need to deflate enough to access the valve stem area.

My local shop charges my friends only $15 per wheel/tire for mounting/balancing (they don't charge me anything of course ). So use that price as a starting point when you get your wheels/tires done. Don't get ripped off! These are very straight-forward. They don't require much work. I sometimes even borrow my local shop's tools and do it myself if they're too busy =P

Honestly, I wouldn't buy a 2nd set of these. It's a waste of money imho. I wouldn't have even bothered swapping my OEM set over to the new wheels when I got them if the light on the dash wasn't so annoying lol.
It's easy to check your tire pressures ever now and then anyhow. It's as easy as pumping gas in ur car lol

incidentally, i've used the cigarette lighter powered air pump in the back of the m coupe's and it's pretty decent. be sure to check tire pressures just prior to the crack of dawn and inflate them to manufacturer's specs.

yeah i'll take them down to 30 each, per the door. I'll just put up with the light for now until I get tired of it and take care of it...lol

thread got a little OT there...lol

I looked this morning at my wheels (like i've been doing since I put them on) and noticed that a couple of dirty bees/wasps tried to fly into my wheel or something...they got smashed in between a couple of the 'spokes'. (is that what they would be called on these? lol IDK) quick little squirt of water and a towel and they're gone. thought it was interesting that i'm getting bug juice not only on the bumper now...

incidentally, these bugs get sucked through the front brake ducts and find themselves on the insides of the wheel when u're turning.
