Who has a Gruppe M or replica air intake?
I saw one at a BMW show and I swear that they were not sealed to the outside thus drawing in air from the engine bay.
Can anyone confirm this? Edit, solved, that's a bit poor then IMO

I doubt you'd get very much heat entering from the engine bay through that carbon shroud when you're moving though?
That looks a bit funny as well - is that a definate GruppeM filter, and not a rep? This is my Gruppe-M (authentic) on my Z4M...

Ta, it's just a stock pic I got from a google image search.
You'd of thought they'd of sealed it off considering how much they charge for the things.
