The pieces finally came in. Workmanship is near perfect. Some decisions were made well in advance of my consent, however I liked every thought process that went into this. Im happy with the overall outcome. What you see in the pictures in regards to the install is incomplete because i have to swap out the Turner Motorsport CF Brake Lever. the TMS CF BL is ergonomically superior to the one provided by BMW and subsequently to that of the Tekarbon Lever since they are one in the same. I will be doing the swap however, to maintain some sort if uniformity. The Chinchilla was just a model. Who knows maybe its an idea for a future wrap. :-)

This whole costly project was just to see how it would all look semi-Riced out. There I said it. Somehow I have tricked myself into liking this. As you can see Im all about experiementing with looks.

I would suggest looking into nascar technology as far as engineering brake ducts that flow more air. when I use to build and race american muscle cars (also known as sh*t) I was very crafty with inline break fans. Detmar Fans to be exact and you can find them on ebay for very cheap. we do however run out of clearance very quickly underneath all the plastics from our front bumper and wheel wells. however there are other places great space in that general area it will be a question of plumbing

also I wonder if anyone has ever thought about doing a nitrous purge outlet on the front discs. I don't know what the temperature of nitrous is on the purge but it's something to think about

that chinchilla is awesome. I had one but gave it away since it requires a lot of attention, and sometimes jumps into an open toilet when running around the house. hahaha

Carbon fiber pieces, with the chinchilla seal of approval!

All look very good BTW. Must have been a bit of coin!

I await seeing the brake duct thread.

"UP" is the Chinchillas name.

The coin was well worth the product I must say. The brake duct will be a work in progress. More updates to follow

Initial look of CF parts swap. I decided to mix up the CF parts with the OEM parts for a unique look.

If you had brushed aluminum trim i think it would look better,
I just don't think it goes very well with the carbon leather trim, It also look a little odd that the weaves of the carbon now go in different directions,

This is coming from someone who would eat carbon fiber if I could, I love the stuff, I have carbon fiber pens, keychains, iphone cases, misc things around the home etc etc etc
