^ dont think so. Even though the car has blue tooth - most generally cant stream any music.

I have a question. Has anyone paired a winmo device with a Z before? My samsung omnia can do everything under the sun except find my cars bt connection. Does not show up at all when i search for the car or when the car searches for the phone.

Confused about bluetooth

I have a 2004 Z4 3.0i. It has the blue tooth (I think). I has all the buttons such as the maintenance and SOS. I have the phone button and the RT button. However, I cannot get it to work with my iPhone. I did not see it on the compatibility list. Has anyone been able to get it to work and how? If not, is there an after market type device that can make this happen?

Thank you!

Can someone post a picture of their car with the Pin on it? I just got my car and it had a little laminated sheet on it with like 10-12 numbers separated into groups and divided by periods and i've tried every combination of the numbers to no avail. But I'm not even sure if it's the right piece of paper or not.

That's not it
Mine was on a card about the size of the manuals.
(don't have access to it right now)

If yours is MIA;
The code is also on the module in the trunk, behind the trim panels.
There's a thread on this somewhere.

I'd snap a picture of mine but it didn't come with one. They hooked it up to the GT1 at the dealership and pulled the code. Like inTgr8r said you can pull the trim out of the trunk to find it.

That's alright man. I'll just wait another couple days as I've got a appointment coming up for them to check the headlight and I told them I'd like for them to retrieve the bluetooth password as well, just in case I couldn't figure it out.

Pretty sure the iPhone came out after your car was made, so that may be a reason for no compatiability. I am not sure what else it may be. iPhone seems to need special treatment in terms of compatiability, just having bluetooth doesn't always cut it.

Don't need to do it via blue tooth. Get the pandora streaming on your phone app, and then connect your phone headphone output jack to the car aux in jack (if your mc is an 07+)

Used to do it with my e30

Sorry to bring up an ancient thread.

I've just got a new LG G4 and I've been t ting to pair it to my z4m. I had my HTC one paired previously before no problem. I've tried lots of different things but now I'm struggling to get the car to say activate phone on the display.

I don't have navigation if that makes things different. Does anyone have any ideas?

I can see the car Bluetooth on my phone but when I tap to pair it looks like it's doing something but then stops.

Don't know if you are the first owner. If not, perhaps the system has reached the maximum number of paired phones and you have to delete one. Just a wild guess.

I'm the third. I thought you were right. I think upon getting the new phone I got too excited and messed something up. Took it to my guy and he said that he couldn't even see the Bluetooth module connected to the car.

Took it home, disconnected the battery for 45 minutes. Upon reconnecting all was well and now have working Bluetooth for calls.

And I've just ordered a Bluetooth receiver to plug into the Auxiliary port on my ipod adaptor, so I can now stream songs and maps as well! Bloody marvelous. My main point of contention was the fact that I couldn't listen to spotify/maps/etc and charge my phone at the same time.

Problem. Solved.

What did you end up doing? I just picked up my z4mc and want to stream music. If you have links or pictures, that would be amazing
