Bav Sound Speaker upgrade

Has anyone had this stage 1 speaker upgrade?

https://www.bavsound.com/Stage-One

I think the sound in my M Roadster is pretty damn good, but can't help but want more out of it. I thought this would be a good choice for an upgrade without going crazy.

Curious about this too but for the coupe.

I did this, and ended up putting the stock aluminum mids back in the doors..... kept the bav tweeters, as they were an upgrade over stock. I felt the mids were a lateral move. I preferred the sound slightly with the original mids. Now, this is based off the premium system, which I think you have since you also own an "M". An older Z4 with the non Carver 10 speaker system would most likely benefit from the Bav Sound upgrade. YMMV

I have them in my 2005 Z4 Roadster. Agree tweeters are a massive upgrade. Mids are cleaner than stock in the 10 speaker dsp system. I also put JL Audio 6" subs in place for stock subs and they helped a bit. For what I have into it I would have been better off to rip it all out and put in a new head unit, amp and speakers. Then again it's all a moot point at 80 mph with the top down.

Okay interesting. Seems like I may be better off saving the money towards an exhaust then. Completely different upgrade I know...

Actually, no. Both are sound system upgrades.
Do a nice job on the exhaust and you won't care about the speakers.
