Summer Canyon Cruise (NorCal)

Hey All,

Let's have a summer canyon cruise (Hwy 9 and 35, maybe a little hwy1 if time permits).

It'll be a great way to hang out and enjoy the dry weather we finally got.

I am not local to the area anymore, however I hosted a cars & coffee style event in late 2016 that quite a few forum members attended. Definitely reach out to the folks on this thread, many are long term owners

HWY 9 is almost too tight, instead I suggest La Honda (84) out to HWY 1 and do it while traffic is minimal - early in the a.m.

9 is way too busy most of the time these days, but La Honda is a great route for sure, and the drive in either direction of 1 is great.

Going through Big Basin is fun as well, but definitely more of a relaxed vibe than able to stretch the car's legs.

I'd love to do it but it's a 4 hour trek for me to the starting point . Wish I were closer.

I understand, maybe there are some fun roads in between here and Sacramento that could be done in the future. Maybe in Napa/Sonoma area?

Not much close to Sacramento.. but Mines road south of Livermore is really nice.

That would be great. I know some good routes. And there's at least one Z owner in Napa.

Fall perhaps? Vineyards in fall are amazing.
