Going rate on Z4M stock wheels?

I have someone interested in buying my factory Z4M wheels, but I am having a hard time finding a current value for them. Searching through the classified section, most have sold so it no longer shows an asking price. A few that I was able to see a price on varied a good amount.

I used to see nice sets on ebay for $800-1200 but now unless they are really banged up asking price is almost $2000, I also see a lot less sets around not sure why. I live in a BMW deadzone I always laugh when I see local listings for top dollar as they will never sell. There was one Z4M set with Ventus tires in good shape that I passed on for $1000 cause I didnt want the tires.

Most long term owners keep these in deep storage in the event of a sale, worth a lot more with a car than without. The other camp worries they are going to collect dust for eternity and cashes out while they can. Which camp are you in?

Depends on condition. No curb rash, straight and clean getting harder to find.

I took $500 for mine(refinished/repainted)...took months to sell.

Available new still. There are more new wheels available than there were cars built to wear the wheels.
$500 seems to be the going rate, but often the (old tyres) on them kill the sale.
