Airbag light after M-Steering Wheel install
Just installed a Z4 m-sport steering wheel on my 2005 e85, but now the airbag light is on.
Don’t think I broke anything and was a fairly straight fwd install with the batt off. Anyone experience this or pointers? |

I did this install as well a few years back and disconnecting the battery seemed to do the trick, did you make sure everything was wired correctly? When I did mine I also got the retrofit kit for the wheel radio controls. You might have to just go to a bmw shop to get the airbag light reset

I never tried it but those foxwell nt530 scanners claims to reset light.. I have the foxwell, I think I paid ~125 for it, I got it to do the steer angle reset.. so paid for itself after you use it a few times.
