that 1.5l bottle of Jack that my dad left at the house 3/4 full? It's now under 1/2. Something about Lynchburg Lemonade on a sunny afternoon.

Tried the Plantation Pineapple over ice, pretty damn tasty, but I couldn't do it regularly.

I have been looking for the Plant 20 but so far no luck. They had Plantation 5, so i was all snob like and told them it HAD to be the 20! what's the REAL difference in flavor I don't know.

Been buying the 1.75L bottles of Bulliet and the Rye for $40 for quite a while now. That's a hell of a deal for some pretty good stuff.

My stock is down to one 1.75l bottle of Gentleman Jack. I'll be cracking that open tonight.

I'm finding Gentleman Jack to be perfect for a daily dram. Ok, maybe I'm slumming a bit, but it's tasty and doesn't drain the bank account.

Bulleit Rye is one of the smoothest whiskeys I have tried. It is THE whiskey that got me started in this whole addiction because it is so easy to drink over ice/neat. Their bourbon is also good, a bit sharper and more kick.

Favorite bourbons right now are Knob Creek Single Barrel and Wild Turkey Rare Breed, both are cask strength, and great over an ice cube. Bulleit makes a real nice Rye too.

Haven't tried Wild Turkey, but I can vouch for the other two. Both excellent.

Gentleman Jack again tonight. Sunday we're heading up to Champaign, so I'll finally be able to stock up at Binny's again. Need me some rum.
