Painted side markers?

Hey - is there anyone that sells the circular side markers painted? I've seen lots of Z4s in pictures that have them body colored - just wondering if people are taking them to body shops to be sprayed, or if there's someone that actually makes them.

What colour is your Z? Mine is black sapphire. After some experimenting i found that the base of a WD40 can is the exact size of the front markers. A little black vinyl wrap and I was done in a few minutes lol.

I bought the ones from Dan's decals, but the color match for my Interlagos Blue car was terrible. I'm going to try painting them later this week using the supplies outlined in this thread:

Just a quick update - got a reach out from Nick at the Decal Store - he's sending Alpine White decals in a number shades and looking for feedback re: which ones the closest - IMHO that's a good way of doing it. I'll update when I've got them.

I got the decals that someone else posted a link for here. They match well. I realized after I put them on though that the circle lights had writing on them so they aren't perfectly flat. I should have sanded those letters off before putting on the decals so that it sits flatter. It's hard to notice but I notice.

Wow- I thought i was fussy lol. If u"sand " the dot numbers off youll likely ruin the lens if decal ever comes off so...

The replacement lens are cheap. Likely those decals will always cover those lenses anyways. No plans to go back to orange or red dots. I'm just discussing this, I ordered a new set of decals and I will be sanding off the little numbers. Lol. I'm picky like that. I'm also the person who wrapped all the plastic in the trunk with headliner material because I didn't like the look of the plastic in there. Lol.
