Bmw Z4 Coilover options.
Hi Guys ,
Im wanted to know everybodys opinion on z4 e85 coilovers non m. So I had tein coilers on my z4 for about a year and they were alright. However I sold them because I thought I was going to sell the car which I'm not going to anymore . I changed jobs and no I have a nice commute to work + the z4 is great on gas!. So Im looking at my options for buying back Coilovers Im not trying to spend too much as I won't be using this car on the track its going to be my daily driver. The brands I'm seeing are Megan, ST, BC theirs a couple more out their, of course theirs KW but thats way out of my budget. Your help/opinion will be much appreciated Thanks, Reginald. |

BC and Megan both suck, ST is ok because they're essentially KW V1's without rust protection but you need that for tri-state.
Best budget coilover is Fortune, else get springs and shocks. How often do you really adjust height (camber changes with height)? Because if you do I bet you're not getting it aligned every time. If going low is your goal plenty of springs out there that will get the job done. |

Not saying the ST's are like that, but it's common practise in many areas of sales. |

Fortune is considered a budget coilover nowadays? Sheesh, they are more expensive than H&Rs which is probably at the top end of my budget. |
