Center console cheap plastic

Hi everybody!

I just got my first Beemer, and turns out to be a Z4 2.5 2005.

I am trying to upgrade a bit the interior and I hit a road bump. The center console is made out of the cheapest possible plastic and it's really uncomfortable to rest your hand while driving.

Does anyone know if there's a aftermarket padding or something that can be glued on the center console around the handbrake to make it a bit softer?

Thanks!

Thank you Azeka1. I know the LeatherZ armrest but my only concern is that my Z4 is manual and the height of the armrest might be uncomfortable. I was looking for something more like:

Are there any other options or something similar?

I already ordered one from here: http://www.aaaupholster.com but they sent it to the wrong address and nobody replies to emails. I feel these guys are scammers.

Felix, what is pictured there is the stock padding at the parking brake lever. Are you saying that this part is not on your car?

Yes that part is missing, but only the padding. I think it might have been like that when it came out of the factory, because the handbrake wrap is still in one piece.

I have one for sale, totally forgot it was on craigslist till this post, can ship it to you if you are interested. I never used it and instead purchased the LeatherZ center console because i liked the idea of additional storage.
