Mechanical problem/question
I have a 07 Z4 M that I just purchased new (200km's) and a few days after driving off in it I started to have problems starting after an hour or so of driving. No overheating issues and until earlier this week no warning lights. On Monday the orange engine light came on.
I have it at the local BMW dealer and they have been trying to pinpoint the problem, with no results so far. Anyone out there that might be able to shed some light on this one? If I leave the car for a few hours, it fires up no problem. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Marc.

It will turn over and not start or not even turn over? If it turns over and won't start till it cools off, "If I leave the car for a few hours, it fires up no problem" it sounds like you have a vapor lock in the fuel system. I remember a bad head/valves causing a like problem, but that was on English cars 40 years ago.
