Question for those who wear suits or sportcoats for work

For Roadster drivers, where do you put your suitcoat/sportcoat when driving? If I toss mine on the passenger seat, it wants to fly up out of the car, so I end up putting it on the floor on the passenger side. Still not the best option.

Anyone figured out a way to hang it? I was thinking about leaning the passenger seat forward and draping it over the seat, then leaning the seat all the way back to hold it in place. I'm worried about damaging the coat, though.

I saw my jacket start to lift yesterday but managed to get up to 80 and it didn't fly out....started to lift at times, but that's about it .....

I haven't installed my acrylic windblocker yet but that should do the trick.

No, it doesn't. I have the windblocker and it still lifts. Like you say, it just sort of floats. I'm just worried if it does fly out, it'll be so quick I won't be able to catch it.

Thought of that, too, but I don't suppose it's much better/worse than the floor. My passenger side floor is spotless. Although it would lay in the trunk without having to fold it, so that's a plus. Might try that.

When I have to have one, I place it in the trunk also... Keeps it bug splatter free too!

I fold the shoulders in on mine so the jacket is in half but reversed so the outside of the jacket doesn't get dirty. I then place it in the trunk.

I keep mine in the trunk. In fact, I don't ever drive wearing a coat or jacket, even in the dead of winter.

Suits? Coats?? You mean 'business casual' hasn't filtered down to ALL companies and work environments yet?

Actually, we are business casual at my office, we started 12 years ago. I remain a stalwart objectionist, so I keep showing up in business attire. Only downside is that whenever there's a problem, people wander in and assume I'm in charge since I'm wearing a tie.

At first, it made my co-workers nervous - people worried the casual policy would be rescinded because of me, my boss kept thinking I had an interview somewhere else, etc. Now they freak if I don't show up in suit and tie. It's handy having someone that looks presentable around, in case higher-ups pop in. And if I do have an interview somewhere else, now no one's the wiser.

haha at my company its the same way. they made it business casual because some staff are volunteers. but me and a couple others still wear jackets and ties every day.
