One touch to close driver window
Mine does not work anymore....I had the battery replaced, is there a way to reset this feature like on my 97 M3? Holding the button up after the window rolls up did nothing....

Yes, after your battery has been disconnected, you reprogram the window by holding the up button until the window hits the top stop, then you continue holding the button for about 5 seconds after that. Bring the window down and give it a test. If it doesn't work the firs time, then repeat the procedure.

Does the car have to be on? I just turned on the accessories and I held it up/held it down for over 10 seconds. In the manual, it said 2 seconds were only necessary and it still doesn't work. Also, do the windows raise when you keep the key in the door lock turned for an extended period? I'm wondering if I need to have these features reset by the dealer....

Yep, you windows should go up or down if you hold the key in the lock or unlock position for 3 seconds or more. The car shouldn't need to be running for the on-touch feature to work, either.
I suggest taking the car to the dealer. You won't need to schedule it in or have them fix anything - in my experience, everything starts working again as soon as you get there. |

Haha.....I'm sure it will take them 20 minutes to just reprogram the features or something. I was first thinking of checking the fuses, but I figure the window wouldn't go up or down if that were the case.

I've tried countless times to get the one touch feature back.....I've closed the window and held the switch more than 2 seconds, lowered the window and held the switch down for more than 2 seconds....what am I doing wrong here? I've repeated these steps countless times with no luck....
