oil change question.

my car is non-m z4.

i always use the oem castrol, now it is track season.

i will go for tracking 2-3 times this summer.

which oil should i use.

Mobil 1 0W-40. I use Blackstone Labs' oil analysis every 5,000 miles. They confirmed that Mobil 1 is actually performing better than the BMW 5W-30 oem oil.

I have not gone back in over 15,000 miles.

I'd use Redline or Motul 300V
