How many miles do you average on your Z4/Z4M?
Just curious how many miles do you average on your Z4/Z4M per month?
Right now I'm around 1,500-1,800 miles per month on my M as I use it as a daily driver. |

600 -1000 / month as a DD, but I'm very conscious about putting the miles on it.

~1200-1400 if I drive it all the time. I have an old Jeep I use for bad weather and Home Depot runs (or CostCo......frickin' CostCo). That average range drops once winter hits, though....it's all Jeep from then 'till spring.

In 4 months I've put about 3000 miles on it, which is more than I've driven in the past (my commute is only ~3 miles), and I haven't DDed it since 2 months ago. This car makes you want to drive!
Probably not going to drive it during the winter unless it's completely clear (no salt, no snow, no ice) out. |

^50 to a 100 is so few for such a magnificent car! agree with dekaliber in how insatiable the desire it is i feel everyday to just drive the m coupe. i've put 5300 miles in 3.5 months now, and i don't even daily drive it! work commute every other day is 0.5 miles.

got the car with 2500, and loved it so much i couldn't stop driving it. racked up 10k miles in about 8 month time when i claimed the Z as my 2nd car. insurance sent out the mileage check form and i was honest about it and they raised my rates saying i'm putting too many miles so i kind of backed off a bit but love the car..

I've put on about 7000km (4200 miles) in 4.5 months and it's not my DD either. In another 7 weeks she will be going into hibernation for the winter too. |

I'm sometimes tempted to take the coupe out it the winter, but will only do it if there hasn't been much road salt laid out and we get a few good rains....which is never until spring time. I have to run over stuff in the Jeep to keep the driving excitement up in the winter. Driving it normally makes me miss driving the coupe very much. At least I get to say hi to it passing thru the garage. You guys are right...the car definately makes you want to drive it.

I have been doing about 1000/month and she is not my daily driver :-O
I have been taking her out every chance I get and I tend to really rack up the miles on weekends. I am trying to take pictures to be the mid-states RickF, but I am failing so far. Too hard to stop and get out of the Z! I suspect this winter she will see very little road time. Steve |

Had my car for 3 months now and bought it with only 7,700 miles on it. I'm doing just over 1,000 miles/month, which should allow me to time my inspection 1 just before my warranty/free maintenance period expires in 1/11. After reading how the tech's usually blow off the valve adjustment, now I'm questioning whether it's worth putting the miles on it to get this service done. In any event, I love driving the car as my DD and plan to keep it for quite a while.

x2 Nothing beats a BMW/Jeep combo. M sleeps all winter while the Jeep earns his reputation in snow

When I bought the car a couple months ago I was weary of putting miles on it, but now I've changed my mind. It's a car and it's meant to be driven. I got mine with 21,300 miles late July and it currently has 24,900 miles on it. I figure I might as well drive it so anything that might go wrong with it does while the warranty is still active.

I've had the car for just over 2 months and put 1571 miles on it, so @ 700 miles per month as a NON DD. Will be stored from Nov 1 thru Mar 31 though!

Six months, and about 4,000 miles. It wasn't my daily driver when I got it, but thanks to my newly licensed 16-year-old son who took over my Jeep, it is now. Driving this car is so much fun, I have no problem putting miles on it!
