I had mentioned to him there comes a point where you need to stop the mods and move on. I made that mistake a couple times or keep the car forever.

Looks like he moved on.

I loved his Z4MC. I would have kept it.

My question. With all the modifications is your car worth more than the normal 2006 M Coupe? Or did you keep all the oem parts and when it comes time to sell the car will you remove the mods and reinstall the oem parts?

Usually its Far better to remove mods and sell separately.

Yep, agree 100%
Most modification adds no value to the car and can reduce the value.

I was very happy to find a fellow enthusiast who shared my passion for this build. The M went to a great home and the new owner a great plans for the car!

I already miss this forum (more like a family really). I will now be an official Zpost lurker . There really is nothing like this forum that I have come across in terms of quality of information and quality of members.

I am still in a Z car, just a different nationality and larger production numbers. Going a different direction for now, but I plan to have an E86M in the garage again one day!

It has been on hell of a ride,
Cheers

That was a great weekend, glad I caught you guys there!

I plan to be out there more frequently in the near future. I may leave the new Z at my buddies house in Roseville for the track season once the car is prepped and ready to go

Awsome. Let me know if some track dates firm up. We may be there with our own surprise...Not the letter Z but something "interesting" just the same.

Glad to see you're still tracking Chris. I'd be curious, like many here, to see pics your new Z. Glad the old one went to a good home! Stay in touch.

Attention to detail can't be bought. That is probably one of the reasons he just builds them him self.

Sound advice, I reached that point and I am content with my n52 coupe. Plan to keep/drive/track it till it dies.

Hi,
Short answer: Pretty scary because it requires cutting. The whole bulk head is tack welded in at several points. I cut mine out in several pieces. The next time I do this, I believe I can get it out in one piece that could be welded back in.

I took a ton of photos, I will eventually get up.

Hey Byron.
The Z06 was a lot of fun and I had begun a decent build before I relized it just wasn't the car form me.
I will post more on why the Z4m when I have time to really jump into the experience of going from Z4M to Z06 to E92 M3 and back to Z4M. It was a wild ride and the Z4M still puts the biggest smile on my face.
