I've finally changed to a square setup and it's very close to the front part of the wheel liner; about 2mm clearance. But it's rubbing at the light bulb access cover on both sides. Anyone has a similar situation? If so how do you solve it?

265/35-18 Falken 615k+
18x9.5 ET35 with 5mm spacer
2.5° camber and zero toe.
camber bolt installed..

thanks,

.

Possible solutions:
1. The camber bolt kit move the center of the rim outwards and that may be the cause. Test whithout the shims. If the wheel clears, remove camber bolts/shims and get camber plates.
2. Try an other brand of tires with lower overall width and diameter. It differs a bit between different brands.

With the offset of your wheels plus the spacer you've moved the arc the wheel turns through outward. That's why you're getting contact. You may also be seeing just a touch on the rear inside of the fender liner also.
One fix is the use a heat gun to soften the plastic and use a greased wooden spoon to reshape it slightly to clear. I did that on my E36 with success and am about to do same on my E85 as I'm getting the same rub as you are with my track wheel/tire set.

Many have done a square setup with this popular offset and spacer combo without rubbing but I see what you guys are saying. The plan is to run this way until I finalize on the coilover setup with camber plates.

Anyone else got this setup to work with OE suspension?

Falken Azenis 615K+run wide. Very wide. Almost as wide as r-comps. I had 275 Falken Azenis 615K (not the plus) and 275 Nitto NT01 and they're about equally as wide unmounted, with the 615K having a more square shoulder.

A less aggressive tire like Michelin Pilot Super Sport or 4S with more rounded shoulder should clear the fenders. Or run without the front fender liners.
