Dry carbon propshaft for Z4M, any interest??

Is there any interest here for these? I have a contact at M Factory who make rather nice dry layup carbon prop for e36/46/9x M cars. The weight is approx 5kg. They are willing to make a Z4M version assuming there is enough interest, preliminary talks suggest a number of around 10 would be acceptable. I will struggle to find the required number in the UK hence opening this up to all.
In the UK the cost is £1200 + Vat, obviously I'd need to look at shipping costs for you guys over the pond.
Cheers
Tom

I tried to set this up with them previously, and they ran into some trouble so shelved all plans for the Z4M. Glad they're picking this up again... i'm in for a set.

Ok thanks guys. Good to see there is at least some interest.
I will chat further with them next week and see what the absolute minimum is that we can get away with.
I can't see it being that difficult to alter from what they have (it's ~110mm shorter than an E46M3 one that's all I know), but I appreciate it's a pretty niche product for them so maybe this one will sit around for a while.....
I can think of maybe 2 at the most afaik who would be interested in the uk

"Propshaft" is what the English call a driveshaft. Or vice versa depending on which side of the Atlantic one calls home.

Are you able to provide them the exact measurements for the Z4M, or provide an actual sample for them to work off?

I thought there would be more interest based on the last thread regarding this...

Yes they'll be using mine for measurements if this goes ahead.
What do you guys call the driveshafts then? The ones that provide the drive to the wheels from the diff?

I dropped them an email, still no ETA. And this is more than a year after my last conversation with them. Doesn't look like it will ever happen, not too sure who the OP was in contact with.

Like I mentioned in another thread, ACPT is another company that perhaps can make it.

I think I called them before and they said they supply the material but they don't make shafts. They told me to contact a place they sell their material to get them done. I called this place and they said they could make easily I just needed to give the measurements. I didn't want to do that since they were not local and I could make a mistake measuring the driveshaft.

I know thedriveshaftshop can make it for us. They are legit among Corvette community.
I am too busy at work to make this happen, but I have an extra driveshaft that I am willing to ship anywhere if someone needs.
