You do know the infamous history of GT haus, right? I wouldn't want to put anything on my car that associates me with them if I were you. For all we know your Meistercraft exhaust might be fake after all.

I'm surprised EisenHaus/GT Haus is still in business... they never learned from their shady business practices from a few years past, and had another fiasco earlier this year:
http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=40641 I wouldn't touch that company with a 10 foot pole. |

Wow, just read that whole post and I would definitely not associate with that company (even if they do seem to make quality products)

agreed, no company stickers on my car. it's too much like a tramp stamp and the Z4 if far too pretty of a car to spoil the looks with stickers.

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...th-feb-23.html Summary: Their side is that they marketed their exhausts as handmade in Germany after they moved production to Japan and Korea because quality was still good and they didn't think customers were interested in the details of manufacture; they thought they were researching for Eisenmann and building the Eisenmann-EisenHaus name so the exhausts were sold as Eisenmanns, even though no one got approval from Eisenmann to do it; customers were kept in the dark because lots of companies do it, and people rip THEM off ("you know who you are!"); nobody knows what it costs to build an exhaust except them, and "if you see how much has to be invested to create such units with plasma laser welders and what it really takes and costs to produce these units in such extreme high quality at countries like Korea and Japan, you will immediately hide your cost analysis." I probably left out a few parts, but there's enough there for a stand up comedy skit. The repeated attempts at building an argument about other companies leaching off of EisenHaus' good name is laughable. One more quote: "After math, as bad as it seems, our effort developing eisenmann became such tarnished and we are getting a lot of criticisms for our such actions, but at the end of this whole story, if this was going to be the result for us anyway, despite the fact of our sincere effort to develop eisenmann brand, then we are rather glad that this has happened now then later. Truly, Best of luck to new eisenmann distributors. Since now we can start calling meisterschaft units; as true "Meisterschaft" units " Yes, I had to sift through the diarrhea of words to try and make some sense of what the poster was trying to say, and it was as hard as it sounds. Here's another: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=112397&page=6 Last edited by pokeybritches; 10-11-2010 at 04:44 AM.. |

The entire meisterschaft brand IS a big knock-off. It wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them "borrowing" designs from other brands like Eisenmann and Kreissieg and probably many others now/in the future.

I think stickers / decals should generally be a no-no on our cars. That said, I do have a small 1'' decepticon decal hidden away on the rear side window. It's like an easter egg. People are all thrilled when they find it! LoL
