Detailing supplies
I've been meaning to post this surplus stuff to sell. I went crazy at Autogeek and ended up with ten lifetime supply of stuff... First up is some LCC 5.5 inch foam pads. Brand new still in sealed plastic. I originally bought four of each, but I've found 2 of anything is plenty. One to use, and one to soak and rotate throughout the detailing job. There's 1 orange, 2 yellow, 3 blue, 2 grey. The 3 packs on Autogeek are 20.99. I'll ship all 8 pads to you for $40 (48 states only). Same ones as here: http://www.autogeek.net/ccs-5-5inch-...fing-pads.html Next up is a wool pad and MF bonnets. I washed all the bonnets, but only used one or two. TBH they don't really save time, esp if you use a very thin coat of wax. Wool pad and 8 bonnets is $40 on autogeek. Same as this: http://www.autogeek.net/pc7424-bonnet.html I'll ship you the wool pad and 14 bonnets for $35. Here's some pics: Wool pad and bonnets: Bare bones flex plate: Pad velcro backing: Wool pad mounted: MF Bonnet on top: Lastly, this is more of a feeler. I bought a 1 gallon jug of Chemical Guys rubbing compounds. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Light_Du..._p/com_103.htm http://www.chemicalguys.com/Medium_D..._p/com_102.htm http://www.chemicalguys.com/Heavy_Du..._p/com_101.htm A gallon is more than I can use. I'd say I use the Medium formula more than anything. The CGC3 is pretty aggressive! These formulas are great, they don't dry out quickly and since they don't have any fillers or polishes they don't feel greasy or fill in scratches that you're trying to get out. I have about 3/4 of a gallon of each one, and the other day I dropped the bottle and it cracked. So I transferred what was left to the ziplock canisters. I won't ship these, but if you're in the 408 area code and want to try a canister of each for $20 we can meet up in the 408 area code. |
