FS: Z4M Roadster, < 5,000 miles
2006 Z4M Roadster - Purchased brand new (with 11 miles on it) by us in April 2008. Silver Gray Metallic with black top, black Nappa leather, black carbon leather trim. 4,900 Miles. Warranty and BMW service until April 2011. Premium Package with heated seats. No: accidents, dings, paint chips, curb rash, smoking, tracking, snow, salt or stories. I was an automotive engineer for > 20 years and am absolutely retentive about my cars. Tires, leather, carpets and mats are all in great shape and everything works. Truly a spotless car. Extras include: BMW strut bar, Roadster Solutions wind blocker, CDV delete (by dealer), RPI skid plates, Turner front camber bolts / shims (set at -2 degrees), audio aux in connector (not installed). All service records. Recent oil change, inspection and alignment. Located in Rochester, NY. $31,500 OBO Reason for selling? Quite a bummer, actually. When we built our house 3 years ago, we planned on installing a lift for a track car. In preparation for that, we found that the base under our concrete slab was not compacted properly and has sunk quite a bit. It all has to be pulled out / replaced as soon as possible regardless of the lift. Rather than letting this car (which we really do love) sit outside and get exposed to concrete dust and eventually snow, we think it is better to sell it now and re-assess our car situation after all the work is done (and we see if we have any disposable income left). Thanks, Brent 585-315-7051 Last edited by drummerbrent; 09-21-2010 at 12:28 PM.. Reason: Price |

Oh man, I am so so sorry to hear about your house situation. That really sucks. I wish I had an extra space available here to let you store your car What a shame.
Best wishes to you, beautiful car. Chris

I found with the negative camber maxed out (and the alignment pins out), there is a little bit of side force. If I loosen up the strut nuts to remove the strut bar brackets, the top of the strut could move around a little bit - especially if my garage floor isn't level (we know it's not). Probably not a big deal, but I would rather sell it aligned as is and not have to replace the strut nuts.

We bought it new, but only have had it for 2 1/2 years. Yes, we don't drive it enough - both my wife and I work from home (and very long hours). Most of our driving is to the grocery store, Lowes, or the airport and we wouldn't dare take it to any of those places.
