Just got bumper back (new w/ washer and reflectors filled in). Cleaned up and ready for winter. Kinda bitter sweet.

Anyone else putting their ride to bed?

Those are great photos! I love the bumper redo and I really like the rims - what are they?

I just put my car away this past weekend in my garage. Washed, waxed, vacuumed out, tires topped up a few pounds, battery on the tender and wrappped up in a car cover. And there is an inch of snow in the forecast, so the timing is perfect.

The only upside is that you get to be like a kid at Christmas when you unwrap her again in the spring!

Errr... Is it me or did BMW not realize that there's a huge gap between the headlights and the bumper? Mine has that too but it bothers me soo much. I've tried looking up stock photos for the Z and can't seem to find any close shots of the bumper and the space between it and the headlight.....

Btw... Those chrome grills actually look really really good

Dubsed called it. VMR BMW V710 (18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear). I had initially ordered 19" wheels; but changed my mind.. sometimes, with 19", the rubber seems too thin. Shipped from Pyspeed for < $900.

There are many here that went 19", thin rubber with a bit of a drop. Many of those look fantastic (like Dubsed's).

@ 3002 tii - delete's look great!

@ AmmarYasirA - ty. "black chrome" grill and roundels purchased from IanRClifton1234@aol.com . He sells some cool stuff.

Haven't driven my Moupe since early Nov.

We got a bit of snow and they actually salted some of the road. The bigger shame is that we had a bunch of mid-40's days afterwards thru the end of Nov.

@Beedub Thx, Back attcha. I hadn't seen anyone with black on their skirts like you have. Is that a protective film.. or just paint. Deletes look great! Looking at some of your posts; you've done quite a lot. Do you have a single, comprehensive thread showing all your updates?

sinbad they are the o.e side decal from the new performance models, total pain in the ass to fit as they need cutting down, they were never meant to be on the aero sill so took real time to get right, i followed the crease of the aero sill and it really turned out awesome, the car looks so cool, finally the black top theme tied in perfectly to my eyes. The vinyl decal is made for bmw by 3m and is top quality as you'd expect.

Not so sure it would look so cool topless however..... i don't really have a mod thread but the car is heavily modded in pretty much all departments, but done to the best standard possible.
