Sorry I didn't reply I was out of the country. I'd be down to do that as long as we can find a safe place to do it.

Not sure if you guys saw the link of the E9x M3 vid that inspired me to do this, but basically they did the following:

-turn on and idle and standing heavy revs
-rolling "light acceleration"
-rolling "heavy acceleration"

The rolling shots were done with the person taking video standing on a sidewalk as people started the car a few feet to his left, and then took off headed to his right. I figure something like that can give us a "controlled" environment (always having the video person the same distance from the car each time, everyone does the same acceleration, etc.).

Actual rolling recordings would be sweet as well, especially if we can get some 3rd to 2nd gear downshifts and wind those suckers to redline!

Actually let's meet up sooner so you can was them before you wear them. I'd offer to wash them so they're ready to wear on the day of our meet, but I figured you wouldn't want me to wash them with my daughter's poopie clothes.

I won't be attending. My mom's bday was the 19th and my sister was a bit of a turd making brunch plans on Sat (was supposed to be Sun).

It's for the best though, I didn't want to come home with exhaust system fever.

Plus I haven't had time to detail my Z4, so I'd be the only one there with a dirty car.

I think there will be more than a few people wearing my threads tho, so I'll be all over the place in embroidery spirit.

It will be in the 80s for Saturday. The warmest day for this weekend. Just washed my car and see if I can put a coat of polish on tonight before the meet.

Just want to confirm the meet location. Is it still Starbuck?

Yeah Starbucks at 10, or at the big parking lot in the first post at 10:30.

Starbucks around 10AM for those that can make it at that time. Rollout to the naval base next to the big ships around 10:20AM. Arrive by 10:30AM.
