Agreed. R6s are awesome, but the A6s we run in NASA Time Trials are simply amazing. You don't even feel like you're driving the same car. You can brake at the 1 to 1.5 where you had to brake as the 2.5 to 3 before - they carry so much cornering speed, its crazy, just CRAZY.

Running the RS3, pretty happy with these tires. Recovery is pretty quick on them.

what's the difference between the "full" laps at VIR that are posted and the "lightning lap" that C&D does? i see the lap times are off by 45-55 seconds.
zpost Virginia International Raceway - Full RandysV10 <E86 S54 Stock> (Hankook RS-3) ----- 2:16 sabbanick <E86 S54 Stock> (Dunlop Star Spec) ----- 2:22 C&D Z4 M Coupe ----- 3:11.7

VIR has several courses that all tie into one track. I don't know what those auto rags use since they are sometimes secretive...
but with a time like that, I would bet it's the Grand Course. See here for VIR course configurations: http://virnow.com/track/configurations/ |

I'm under no illusions that these are fast times, but here's my best this year per Harry's Lap Timer. Haven't seen anything else posted for these tracks though.
Mid America Motorplex: 2:01.89 Putnam Park: 1:36.02 Grattan Raceway: 1:40.88 Mid-Ohio (with keyhole): 2:00.69 All Midwest tracks, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio respectively. All in 3.0si Coupe

Starting to look at the schedule for this year-- so far, I'm planning on our clubs school at Mid-America Motorplex (MAM) again, Grattan, and a trip back to Road America.
Considering trips to Heartland Park in Topeka, and maybe a long haul out to High Plains in Colorado. I'd have to review my video, as it was before I was using Harry's, but I recall my best time around Road America at about 3 minutes flat-- it isn't exactly technical, but damn, it's a big, fast track.
