American Racing Headers
I came across this GB on the M3 Forums, where a company called ARH has made a single-piece header+section1 for the E46 guys. Initial results apparently show serious gains. The company itself has also been around for a while, but just not in the BMW scene.
I got in touch asking about fitment for our cars and ended up speaking with the owner who seems like a nice guy and def knows his stuff. He has offered to ship a set of headers only, at no charge, to a willing guinea pig who can try them on for fitment. If they fit, he will develop the full header + section 1 kit for our cars and do a GB for Z4Ms. The folks at TTFS have worked with these headers and customized their tune to account for the flow, so we can possibly bring them in on the GB too. So, my questions for you guys 1. Anybody want to try the headers on for size and provide feedback? I'll put you in touch with the owner at ARH. 2. Any interest in a GB, given the following info from E46 guys? 3. Anybody familiar with the company and their products? Cheers https://americanracingheaders.com/ Thread 1 Thread 2 |

I'm local to frank at ttfs and we talked about these. A lot of thought went into these and the price reflect it for sure. Big power gains for sure, perfect for the max effort NA build shooting for max high rpm Hp.
I can vouch for ARH as they are known for some of the best headers in the domestic car world. |

I'm in! Car is ready for any new products out there to provide feedback to the Z community!
PM sent!! Also, ARH is HUGE in the muscle car world. Almost all my friends have their products and cannot brag about the gains, quality and sound enough! Last edited by conceptautogroupla; 06-26-2017 at 10:13 PM.. |

Good to hear, guys. Even I found that they have quite the reputation with the domestic car crowd, but haven't heard of them or dealt with them up until now. Either way, seems like they are willing to make this work and maybe we can have one more vendor on the list!

Just got off the phone with Nick the owner of ARH. They're starting to build the headers and will send them out to me for fitment testing! If all works out, they will not be making a section 1 for us, so we would have to fabricate something custom. He did mention he will hook up Zpost with amazing deals!! Can't wait to get them!!

To be honest, we still would need to further discuss that. Nothing is 100% YET, due to not knowing if the headers will fit or not.. IF they do fit, I will definitely talk to him about making a Section 1 to work with our cars. I'm willing to even make one myself and send it to him so he will have the specs and our members can have the proper setup. =) This is just a waiting game for now.

Huh, okay. The whole point of his kit was a single piece, but I guess if the headers are good by themselves then that's something. Looking forward to see how this transpires...
Good Luck! Quote:

I wasn't given a timeframe for build time, but it will be soon. Since they have to carry oit their normal business. BUT Nick did say he will call/email me the instant they are done. Once he does, I will post the shipping date and eta. Stay tuned, cheers!

This is for the E46, I know this is including the section 1 but pricing looks VERY steep.... |

Surely it's not cheap, but for the expected power gains and GB discount if it fits, it will be well worth it imo. Let's just wait and see. I'm still waiting for AR to give me a ETA so I can test fit them.

I also realize this is the E46 M3 but would assume they would do the same on the Z4M's? I started reading the links but the first one is 61 pages long....

Thanks. Any functional reason that after joining these pulses the exhaust is then split into two for a dual exhaust setup? Seems like the "performance" setup would be to keep it at a single exhaust.
