Z4M Skid Plate???
Does anyone make a Z4M skid plate? Had one on my e36 m3 and it worked very well. The Z4M is unique in the way its setup. Anyone have experience.
I currently have the MFR splitter. I want something that closes up the pulleys so I don't get stuff flying in there. I also have a 1M bumper installed. MFR Engineering Chassis Mounted Splitter and Side Skirts https://mfrengineering.com/collectio...front-splitter Debating just buying OEM Z4M belly pan but its almost as much as the E46 M3 metal skid plates. Any input would be good.

The Z4 has a "skid plate" by design. I don't believe the E36 is similarly constructed. It's called a 'reinforcement plate', it's made of thick-ish aluminum, it's held in place by quite a few quite stout bolts with quite high torque settings, and it not only protects the underside but also ties various bits of same together. Oh and the front jacking point sticks out the bottom of it.

Maybe I mispoke. I am looking for the piece that goes from the bumper to that skid plate your talking about that covers the steering rack, etc. Its in front of the part your referring too.
