However, any summer performance tire, such as the Hankook R-S3 or Dunlop Star Specs, would require you to roll the rear fenders for the 275/35/18 size. If you are looking to avoid rolling fenders, those summer tires in the 265/35/18 size would be a better option.
Hi David, I'm confused. In response to my question, you indicated that 275/35/18 RS3 would work fine, but above you say that you'd need to roll the fenders.

I apologize for not being clear. At a stock ride height, some cars have been able to get away with no fender rolling at all, but if you are lowered at all you would want to roll the rear fenders. In most instances, using a 275/35/18 extreme performance tire has the possibility of rear fender rubbing. We usually recommend a fender roll in the rear even if it does clear without rubbing to avoid any possibility in the future should one lower their vehicle.

fwiw... and anyone interested.... im running clubsports Set relatively high and running a rear 265/40/18 (checkout the fat sidewall) on an 9.5 ET23 right now..... it doesnt rub at full compression. but as you can see my ride height is definitely conservative...... and maybe that tiny bit higher offset maybe further helping too ??

I imagine 275/35/18x10 ET25 would be just fine on stock suspension, as David suggested then. Thanks!

I just cannot smiling every time I look at my car. These wheels are incredible. I notice the steering is a lot lighter in the turns. Sorry this is an iphone picture but I will get real pictures soon.

Now running 18x9.5 et35 (et30 with 5mm spacer) front and 18x10 et25 rear with the APEX stud kit on 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear Michelin PSS. Big thanks to the guys at APEX who helped me with fitting the Stoptech brakes up front!

and that tyre runs wide as well so that rear is like a 280mm... the car is doing well to swallow those, hows the rub on aggressive driving??

After putting the PSS tires on, I actually raised the car up a bit and took some camber out (will double check what my camber settings are at). There was a little additional rubbing on the liners from swapping tires, but nothing terrible. After the 5mm spacer though, and instead of adding some camber, I rolled the front corner of the fenders where the bumper meets.
