Die Cast
So I've been on the hunt for a die cast model close enough to my Z, and it's been difficult. I was shopping at my local CVS last week and found a bunch of Z4 (E85/E86) in a random toy car rotating stand; roadsters and coupes of different colors. They didn't have "my" black coupe but I was able to find one close enough by a near-identical brand on the Bay. I don't remember if I noticed any Z4M's though.
These are 1/32 scale (5" or 12.7cm long), doors open (but not hood or hatch), chinese-made by Kinsmart or Kintoy, are wind up, and licensed by BMW. It's probably not a big deal to most, but I was quite surprised to see a recent release of our car. I thought it would be nice to share this in case anyone else is out there looking for a die cast model.

Here's mine. Found it years ago when I had Z4MC #1 in matching Interlagos. Can't remember where I found it - probably Ebay?

Did you check the Carfax before you bought it? It looks like it has been in an accident and had a bad repaint.
Just sayin'

I've got 3, but can only seem to find 2 at the moment!
First is a Kyosho Z4M Coupe in Carbon Black in 1:18 scale: Second is a 1:43 scale BMW dealer version (by Minichamps) of a Z4M Coupe motorsports car: Third was also a 1:43 scale motorsport Z4MC by Minichamps, but was of the Britcar 24hr winning Duller Motorsport Z4MC, which looks something like this: |

Cool link though - thanks! I think they will even print a copy of your own license plate. First time I've seen a roadster die-cast with a removable canvas top too!

Good luck getting that license plate from them. I had ordered from them before and was never able to get them to deliver the plate

Too funny, I found this in a walgreens. Just happened to see it mixed in with bunch other cars at the end of an aisle. I thought it had to be a rare one.. Not so much..

I just got this Z4 GT3 delivered and pretty happy with it. The e89 looks great in race form.

Diecast Z4 M Roadster?
I am looking for a miniature E85 M Roadster. See z4 (non-M) roadsters and z4 M Coupes, but no Z4 M Roadsters.
I currently have a 2006 black Z4 M Roadster and would like to get a miniature. Color doesn't matter but i am looking for an M Roadster. Hopefully someone can tell me where I can find one. I have begun collecting miniatures of the various cars I have owned. Thanks in advance! |
