HELP.. Z4MC Battery died again
this has happened last summer when i left my car idle for nearly 3 months, after i reconnected the battery and started driving it, it had hard times turning on the engine at times, so i had to replace it with a new one.
Same story this year, except that took the dealer's advice to recharge the battery before trying to start up the car. all the lights and audio worked fine, but the engine just couldnt be started up. i had to hook up my battery with another car and jump start it, drove around for 20 mins and it seems to work fine now, but im afraid that the battery is already damaged as it couldnt be recharged properly. What's the proper treatment if you have to leave ur ride idle for a long period of time? My dealer told me to disconnect the battery, and recharge it until full before turning it on, but it still seems harmful. any suggestions?
