Use Intercity. Don't use anyone else. Don't try to save couple of hundred bucks, you really get what you pay for on this service.

Don't ever use DAS dependable auto service, they will ruin your car.

This. Pay for quality or roll the dice is what I learned recently. Lmk if they can't move your car, they couldn't move mine and referred me to the broker they use from time to time. I had a bit of a delay but service, trailer, and deliver was a1.

You can save $ going with montway on open transport, it just depends on what you want....

Just food for thought, have you considered driving it? I went with a friend a couple months ago to Denver, CO to pick up an C63 and drive it back to Seattle, WA (this same friend, we went to San Diego two years ago and picked up a WRX). We considered shipping it but it was hard to purchase such a car without seeing it in person. And in terms of money, it came out to be the same price as if we had it shipped over (plus shipping company had about two week delay). We drove like 20 hours non stop (he drove, I slept; I drove, he slept) so we really got to learn the car in the mean time.

Used Montway from IL to CA recently. Driver was professional and delivered fairly quickly. Price was very competitive.

Be careful with inner-city they're not the same operation they were years ago. They picked up a 981 l sold and it was an open truck stacked two high that they subcontracted too. If you do use them make sure it's enclosed trailer with a liftgate and one of their trucks. If you try to negotiate with them on price they subcontract it out to the lowest bidder. carl

Whatever you do, for the love of whatever you cherish, do not use uShip.

I have an excellent guy in Atlanta (delivered my X5 to Texas) but not sure if he'd drive all the way to California. Ex-cop, pulls them on a flat bed.

Shipping my car from NY to CA

I'm looking into shipping my car from NY to CA and would like to know if anyone has any connections in the industry. I'd also be interested in getting some feedback from companies including Montway. Thanks

took me 4 days and i actually enjoyed the ride, would do it again at the cost of gas, hotel, and one way airfare back to ny .

Coast to coast shipping company

Anyone know a reliable car shipping company (non-broker) that is cheap?
The last time I shipped is over 10 years ago and tried to call them but not impressed with their terms and price.

Thanks!

What you want to do is download the uship app and post an ad with all the details... Wait three days and you'll have the best market price whether covered or non covered. There are tons of reviews so you can't go wrong. I've used it twice to ship motorcycles and all my experiences were great... Highly recommend!

I just shipped a 2015 M5 from SoCal to Minneapolis using Intercity. It appeared to be the best from the research I did. I had the car in 6 days from purchase. Pricing was fair, communication was good, and quality of trucks was outstanding. I would highly recommend Intercity if you want enclosed transport.

Reliable car shipping company?

Anybody have any recommendations on a reliable car shipping company? What what does it run? I’ve done a little googling and it looks like it would be around $1000 for Coast to Coast?

Enclosed Car Shipping Recommendations?

Ran into a bit of an emergency this week, and instead of driving from Florida to Illinois this week, I have to fly. I'd like to get the m4 shipped in an enclosed truck, but have absolutely no experience with doing this.

Anyone have any suggestions of who to contact or deal with?

I just recently used Executive Auto Shippers to ship an X5M from Memphis to Los Angeles. I found them based on their reviews on Angie's list and Yelp and they did not disappoint. I got an enclosed transport (the other cars on the transport were a McLaren P1, and AMG and an Aston Martin to name a few) and the cost was cheaper than five other quotes that I got. This was my contact:

+1
Used them as well. Very competitive pricing and good service.
I used open transport, however enclosed should be white glove.
Good luck.
