Clear shadow codes, put the backup of your original stock coding back on and see if the errors come back. If not, disable TPMS, and see if the errors come back,if not, add track mode and see if the errors come back. Maybe something weird happened during the coding session?

That'd be the sensible approach but unfortunately after many failed attempts of learning how to use NCS, I ended up one of those online coders to do this for me remotely. I gave him the exact lines to copy/paste based on this thread so I'd be surprised if the coding was done incorrectly.

But I may have to just bite the bullet and have someone restore my original file and approach it modularly...

NCSexpert isn't very difficult with these instructions. I also included my stock mk60 module capture, and a dump from NCSdummy to show all the available values.

ncsdummy.pdf

E85-MK60.C13-ModuleFunctions.txt

E86_MK60 FSW_PSW.TRC.txt

WOW super helpful... in that short amount of time I actually just coded out my amber strips LOL.

I just have to figure out how to restore the original ECU. I know it's a matter of just changing active to not, or vice versa but I wonder if the coder changed other lines. I'd almost prefer to do a default "restore" of those files and start from scratch...

BTW - I know I have to keep backups of the TRC files but is it safe to assume the MAN files can be deleted (or saved over) after each successful coding?

Use a blank FSW_PSW.MAN file and it'll reset it to defaults.

Thanks, restored both mk60 and kmb back to stock. went out for test drive and the wheel speed sensor errors i got before seem to be gone (for now). The only shadow codes that reappeared were tpms related but that’s because I don’t even have sensors on my current wheels.

I’ll start isolating things over next few days as i log more miles.
