z4m roadster shocks problem
Any body in the montreal area with experience with z4m car and/or owning a roadster preferably . Bought a 2007 z4m roadster last october with 50000 km. Bought new michelin ps4 before summer. I have a feeling right now the front shocks are gone. Let me explain. Highway driving is pretty ok but, when road is bad or uneven or with a lot of asphalt patch. Its going pretty bad. Car is always solid but it seems shocks go direct to bump stop.
Normal for a 50000 km car shocks to be finished with so much km ? You have this same car, letme know You have replaced your shocks, let me know I am in the Drummondville quebec area. |

I replaced all 4 corners at roughly 50k MILES. The rears were completely shot. Fronts were nearly there too. Long overdue for replacement. So you're probably not quite that bad at ~31k miles, but if you feel unhappy with the ride, I concur that you ought to get new shocks. These things depend on other factors beyond mileage but you can use my experience as a benchmark to add some confidence.
I have a coupe and am not in Canada, but I saw this on the front page |
