Looking for a low mileage M Coupe
Looking for an M Coupe with less than 50K miles, no navigation and no previous paint or bodywork. Clean Carfax is a must. Preferred colors are Black, Silver, and Sepang... but willing to consider others.
I'm in Southern California but will either have it transported or fly & drive for the right car. Alright Zpost, what have you got? |

I am saddened to see so many of these great fun cars to be just garage queens.

Most that pop up for sales that I have noticed have fairly low miles. Look at sale history on BaT. The last year for the MCoupe is 2008. So one with less than 50k miles is "being driven" about 3k miles per year on average. It's even less if it's a 2007 or 2006...so I wouldn't call that as "being driven".

This is the one you should look into. Low production color, looks in great shape. The owner is a super nice guy too. |

Here 'tis.
A few things done since taking ownership last month: New BMW brake rotors, pads, StopTech stainless steel brake lines, Bilstein B16 PSS10 suspension, BlueBus Bluetooth audio system, BavSound Stage 1 speakers, BMS clutch stop, CDV delete, new hatch struts, on and on. This is my third M Coupe, and I've found that I enjoy sprucing them up as much as I enjoy driving them. There's just something very satisfying about taking a good car and making it great. Cheers |

Looks great 👍 Welcome back to another MC - hopefully 3rd time is the charm! OEM+ is the way to go on these.
How do you like the pss10? Your ride heights look almost stock. I was going back & forth between just B6 and pss10 and ultimately went with the B6 with stock springs because I chicken out and was afraid the pss10 may drop the car too much from stock.

It came with H&R lowering springs and the original shocks / struts. It was sitting really low and I did not like the bouncy ride combined with the lack of travel. Road imperfections were rather punishing.
The B16 is a great OEM+ solution that restored the ride height that I prefer, and it completely absorbs road imperfections while maintaining a comfortable ride. Just the right mix of comfortable and firm. I'm sure the B6 is very similar. |

I also have PSS10s and would call them OEM+. With the adjustable ride height, middle settings are pretty close to stock. Adjustable rebound means you can dial in stock levels of comfort for daily driving and maintain stock handling dynamics with some added firmness. Would recommend for a road car.
