I guess I've finally hit that age... The "fun" cars aren't bringing as much joy anymore. This one is a hoot, but mostly sits in the garage on a trickle charger. So, I'm in the process of transitioning the garage from German to Japanese in the name of better reliability and comfort. The wife's X3 just got swapped out for a new Lexus, and I'll be selling the Z next.

Purchased the car a little over a year ago in Chicago. The original owner had traded it to the dealership from which I bought. He had the supercharger set up done at a highly reputable shop. It was actually in a Zpost write up that I'll try to find and attach. Also have retained every nut, bolt, and part to put the car back to stock if desired. Even have the OEM wheels with 2006 date coded tires. The only part I'm aware of not available is the exhaust (Eisenmann now). Below are the items I've addressed, updated, or added:

APEX Arc8 staggered wheels - 19"
Hankook Ventus V12 evo 2 - maybe 3k miles
H&R springs
ZHP shift knob
Shorty antenna
Window tint

Last month:
Oil service
Supercharger service
New coil packs
New spark plugs

At purchase:
Oil service
Supercharger service
New brake, transmission, and diff fluids
CDV delete

https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthr...ht=IND+Z4M+ESS

Figured I'd start here before potentially going the BAT route. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Looks great and very clean. Love the leather color. M Roady’s haven’t been doing too well on BAT of late...so will be interested to see how it ends up. GLWTS

I recall this being for sale in Chicago a while ago. It appeared to be in fine shape then and you have done the same.

And that is still an interesting color combination for an M Roadster. GLWS!

Appreciate the kind comments, guys. I'll likely leave the listing here and on 6speedonline until Spring before possibly trying BAT. I've noticed the same lack of respect for roadsters! If I "have" to keep it another year or two, it'll still be low mileage and there are probably worse problems to have. 😎

Original owner - and I have stock exhaust cans

I was the original owner. I loved this car, but I needed more torque in first gear so went back to a Viper. 2nd & third gear with that ESS supercharger was as quick as the Viper. It is a fantastic car.
Never raced by me. I did sell with all original parts other than the mufflers. The Eisenman's sound great but not that loud. ... but no way would I recommend bringing it back to stock unless you want to collect.

That's awesome! Please DM me if you have any additional information and/or documentation that you feel would be beneficial for me to be able to pass along to interested parties.

Thanks,

Wow, this one is a beauty and with this mileage is a bargain! I purchased my silver 2006 M roadster in Chicago last April for $20K but it had 43k miles and wasn't that good! I am sure it won't last.

$20k? Wow, you got a pretty good deal then. I paid $17k for double the mileage on my AW/IR. The Roadsters are absolute bargains and my pick out of all M cars personally, in terms of fun/price.+

Good luck OP! Very nice combo and rare

A few more miles now due to necessary proper social distancing therapy.

Still open to selling when the time is right; although, that may be at least a few more months...

New month bump up. The Z4M is still being exercised some when the weather is nice.

Picked up an old Land Cruiser that's very solid. Having fun moseying around town and tinkering with it these days. I'll probably have one of those roof top tents on it before long!

Just a bystander. Still fascinated and obsessed with this car's good looks and lovely color combos. Unique with incredible mods and super low miles the pics are quality too. You are close to me (STL) and have thought of driving down and checking it out

I swear by Toyota SUV/Trucks. I had a 97 4Runner that I bought for $3k with over 300k miles. Everything apart from AC worked, and required minimal maintenance in the 7 years I owned it.

I will always have one in my garage from now on. Currently daily driving a 2016 Toyota Tundra Platinum and love it to death! It's been flawless so far and love having a truck now.

I hear ya. Picked up a '20 Lexus GX for my wife at the beginning of the year and enjoyed driving it. So, when a buddy with an '04 100 series mentioned he was going to sell his, I jumped on it. I already knew it'd be in great shape because that's the kind of guy he is. Has ICON stage 2 suspension/lift as well as ICON wheels and Toyo AT tires. Just over 200k miles, but no leaks and excellent condition overall. Removed the running boards today. Next up will be some sliders. Then maybe a new bumper so I can throw a winch on it!
