It will "fit" but with very extensive custom fabrication which will cost a lot of money. The thing with turbo/sc kits is that if you buy a kit not made specifically for your car you will have to do a lot of welding and fabrication for all the piping, mounting the intercooler and making sure all the fittings work. My friend is working on a turbo kit on his Acura Type-S he opted to buy individual pieces and fabricate his own piping and mounts and he is already 2 months past his original finish date. Your best bet is to wait for a kit specifically designed for our cars. If you have a pre-06/07 z4 there are already supercharger options out for your car.

The supercharger is probably of questionable quality, and using a block off plate with a silicon hose adapter to connect to your intake manifold sounds like a flimsy bad idea. That supercharger is hardly light enough to be supported by a silicon hose. If the belt moves, you're in trouble. The supercharger needs to maintain a set distance from the motor and the belt needs to be of the proper size. That just looks way too ghetto to be putting on any car you value. If you want to have fun with it, I say try mounting it on your lawn mower.
I'd steer clear of that ebay supercharger. At least ebay turbos are less work. Although the turbo may split in half due to the glue they used to hold the compressor and the exhaust turbine together. |
