M FK Coilovers

Has anybody tried the FK Highline Coilovers for the Z4M? Looks to be a good price and FK is usually pretty good quality. Im wanting something to lower the car a little bit and keep the ride quality close to stock

I used to have the FK coilovers for my M3 and they were amazing for the street. I'm not so sure for the Z4M though, but I would definitely give them a try.

I did not track my M3 at all... It was my freeway monster and there is no doubt that it should be wayyyy better than stock. Pull the trigger and be a happy FK Coilover owner!

I bought the FK Konigsport for my M3 Vert. It's definitely worth it for the price!

Sorry for the pics, but I just sold my M3 this week and I really miss it.

Those coilovers are suspiciously cheap. Does anyone know if these are better than the H&R Coilovers as far as street ride quality?

A lot of VW guys run their cup kits. Nothing special from what I remember, but the price was always right and the quality surpassed what you'd expect from the price. I never personally ran them, but there are a lot of GTI's with them.

I've used both FK and H&R coilovers and as far as street quality, the FK beats the H&R by far. There is nothing suspicious about this brand. It is made in Germany and it's just not exposed in the BMW crowd yet. Both setups are similar in price range, and I must say that the FK are way more forgiving to the driver's back.

I searched the web for over an hour to find any hard information about them. Some anicdotal info that I found were from street only drivers and did not find any hard data from track drivers.
One thing that seemed to be prevalent, is their likeliness to corrode and become very hard or impossible to adjust.

Just not enough information out there on them.

Beautiful M3! Same coilovers and wheels that i want for my M Coupe. I think I am going to pull the trigger on these coilovers here soon. I dont track my car so these should be just fine.

In what way do they beat the H&R? quality? Ride comfort? adjustability? I find the price to be suspicious, thats all. Im looking for coilovers to replace my H&R Springs and I dont track, just want lowering with a decent ride quality.

Thanks for all your input!

Well the konigsport is dampening adjustable for the same price of the H&R so you have the ability to control your dampening where as the H&R is pre set and some say the setting for the H&R is too stiff for daily driving. I cant comment on anything else though hopefully someone else will chime in

Street-wise, they are perfect... the ride quality is way better than H&R.

If you live in CA or any place that you don't have to worry about rust, then go for the Konigsport. Otherwise go with Highline.

I'd love it if someone with a Z4M bought these coilovers and can share with us the experience.

The price is way too attractive for an adjustable coilover set, I wouldn't worry much about these since the shocks and struts are KONI.

I'd go highline if i was you. you can't beat rust proofing for 100$ difference.
