worth or not is very depend, for example: people spending couple thousand watch Vs hundred dollar one, both have same function - "Time".

Expensive one : Brand name, better material, reliable & look. it doesn't mean better performance. it may be more accurate, but do we really need 1 or 2 sec. different?

It is same as BBK Vs stock.

they both tell time, but the expensive one still holds its value because there is a market for it. whether or not you think it's not worth it doesn't matter because there is at least one buyer who does think its worth and it and will assign the higher value.
