I just realized, will the Alpine KCA-420i work with newer iPod / iPhones? I recall my older iPod car accessories (Belkin car charger) not being compatible when the iPhone 3g was rolled out with a particular update. Obviously I'll be using an iPod with the Intravee but I wonder if say, you installed the latest iTunes on your ipod, would that affect compatibility?

Nope,
Just make sure your alpine came with the AiNet cable and the iPod cable, The intravee doesn't come with them, They are Alpine parts, All 10 will be here today,Ready around 7 ish when I get home lol

One of the best mods ever. For once I don't hate the fact I have this archaic navi system.

thanks man. went out for another drive later at night, and the intravee seriously enhances the driving experience. my aux was crapping out again (first time replaced under warranty) but i was getting static feedback again, connector seems to get loose easily. not only is the sound quality 10x this way, but again the navi screen serves a better/more purpose. surprised these have not sold out yet!

Has lots of other neat stuff like engine water temp and speed (the real speed-not the 'adjusted' speed on the speedo). I think your going to like it. Let us know how the iPod part works. I've heard the KCA-420 can be troublesome. |
