Koni Poly Bumpstops
Hey gang - just popping this out of a thread in engines / drivetrains, where I'm discussing w/ racerbruce .
Context is a discussion re: hard bottoming of the Bilstein + Eibach setup, and how to mitigate that bottoming. Anyone have any experience with aftermarket / performance bumpstops? Here's the post from the other thread... racerbruce - I haven't figured out BMW fitment yet, but this was the product that was very popular for lowered B13 Nissans. Lowering those cars (Sentras, Sentra SE-Rs, NXs) came at the expense of travel, so these bumpstops were used to mitigate bottoming. They are available in different compression profiles and trimmable - an interesting product for the nissan world anyway, not sure how they compare to OEM BMW. Koni Bump Rubbers (sounds dirty!) Following- I am going for a Koni Eibach setup for a Non-M and the consensus after consulting with a couple of local Atlanta performance shops and Dinan was to use m-sport bumpstops.
It would be interesting how the Koni bumpstops perform |
